There are many ways to serve at the Haven.

Animals arrive here in every stage of life and health, and volunteering to provide direct animal care is truly a hands-on experience.  Ensuring the utmost well-being of our animals at every stage of their journey is the most important thing we do.

The work is challenging but immensely rewarding.  It often requires physical exertion, including lifting, bending, pulling heavy carts, and on occasion, some degree of agility, but there is a place for everyone who has dedication, commitment, and a heart for these amazing animals.

If you are interested in our volunteer program, please CLICK HERE. Due to liability concerns and our insurance providers, only those over 18 years of age can volunteer for direct animal care.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and cannot enter animal enclosures.
