A hands-on donkey & equine experience in Celina, TX.
We've had so many ask about specialized events specifically for our younger donkey lovers! We're thrilled to bring this one-day event to life and give a very small group of campers an up-close and personal experience with our beloved Haven donkeys.
It's a chance to spend the day immersed in life at the rescue, learning about the donkeys who call the Haven home and the care that goes into giving them happy, healthy lives!
Campers will meet our resident donkeys, learn about their unique personalities and stories, participate in hands-on activities, enjoy crafts and games and spend plenty of time making memories with some very special long-eared friends!
Along the way, we'll explore topics like kindness, compassion, animal care, and what it means to give animals a second chance.
Because we want this experience to be meaningful for both the children and the donkeys, camp size will be intentionally kept small. Our goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where campers can ask questions, get involved, and truly connect with the animals and mission of the Haven.
Whether your child already knows every donkey by name or is just beginning to discover how wonderful these animals are, we can't wait to share a day at the Haven with them.
A note to parents:
The safety and well-being of our campers is incredibly important to us. You may notice that our registration form is a bit more detailed than a typical one-day event, but those questions help us prepare thoughtfully for each child and create the best possible experience for everyone involved.
